Sergio Santamaría González (born 16 July 1980 in Málaga, Andalusia) is a Spanish footballer currently playing with Antequera CF in Tercera División, as an attacking midfielder. After scoring 52 goals for local outfit La Cala del Moral at 12, Santamaría moved to neighbours Málaga CF to continue his grooming, and joined country giants FC Barcelona after four seasons. In 1998 99, the Catalan's Director of football, Llorenç Serra Ferrer, promoted him to the club's B side, a team which also included Luis García, Carles Puyol and Xavi Hernández.
