Serum Copper and Iron levels among oral sub mucous fibrosis patients

Oral cancer is the current issue in which patient get to know once they are in last stages. Oral sub mucous fibrosis lead to cancer which is mostly due to lack of awareness. The text enlightens the minds of our people that beside medications there are other bio chemicals that play such a huge role to cure the disease. These bio chemicals like iron etc rules our body recovery. Most clinical practices especially in Asian and few European countries, it has been noticed that lot of symptomatic medications are prescribed but such markers are ignored when being investigated or treated. The importance of the research is that these biochemical factors should be emphasised in such deliberated disease like oral sub mucous fibrosis, which is a pre malignant lesion highly prone to oral cancer. The research highlights the importance of micronutrients in the prevention of cancer. The early detection of premalignant lesion can be a helpful tool to cease cancer progression. Cancer is an irreversible problem if diagnosed at its highest stage. Supplements along with medicine play a major role that should not be ignored.
