Sex education and LGBT+ community

Sexuality education programs in Mexico are approached from a perspective that promotes the health and well-being of sexual life from a heteronormative perspective. The misinformation about sexual diversity has implied several problems such as sexual health risks and violence towards sexually diverse people. This book will discuss the consequences of this approach to education in order to raise awareness of the importance of implementing an inclusive educational program.

Je suis Carolina Abarca, diplômée en psychologie de l'université La Salle. Je trouve le monde de la psychologie et de la sexualité vraiment fascinant parce qu'en étant mieux informés sur ces sujets, nous pouvons nous rapprocher d'une vie plus épanouie. Le bien-être découle de la connaissance, surtout lorsqu'il s'agit de sexualité.
