In a society where homophobia runs rampant, public space has become a battle for survival. This book explores ways in which to create inclusive public spaces through urban planning theories and decision making. Town Planning was a heterosexist project, thus excluding minorities who are part of the LGBTI community. Creative ways of urban planning decisions and theories are thus explored. Theories such as the right to the city and queer theory are explored. Different experiences largely riddled with violence are also interrogated and planning responses are thus given

Lgbti usually use space to move around instead of actually enjoy it because they get excluded due to gender presentation.
