Sexuality at school
Details
This book critically presents how sexuality has been approached in the school environment, reflecting on the limits and possibilities of this important subject for the civic education of our students. From the point of view of Sex Education, the importance of school for students during adolescence is pressing, as it is the place where they spend most of their time, where their first social relationships are built, and often their first emotional relationships. It therefore becomes a privileged and favorable place to address sexuality and all the other issues surrounding it. We want to reinforce the importance of educational actions aimed at educational policies in the school environment, which is why this book is aimed at professionals in Education, Health, Social Work, Psychology, Law, among others. Considering the student as an individual in their singularity and integrality, encompassing their social and cultural context, to achieve health promotion and disease prevention, in order to enable the dissemination of knowledge about STD/HIV/AIDS and facilitate open dialog within the school space.
