Have you ever wondered why it's difficult to treat and manage sexually transmitted infections (STIs) despite advances in technology? Contact tracing is a public health approach that can be used to aid in the treatment, management and care those infected with STIs. Treatment and follow-up of the primary cases is important in ensuring eradication of the infection. Research on behavior change and modification are crucial in STIs treatment and care. This book investigated and documented findings on the role of contact tracing in the treatment, management and care of STIs and a means to reduce new cases of HIV in Nairobi City County, then Nairobi Province.
