It is the home ground of Portadown F.C.. Shamrock Park used to be used for stock-car racing, but this has been discontinued in recent years. The stadium holds 8,000, due to the redevelopment work some terracing was removed from the stadium and now there is three stands which hold 3500 seats, although on matchday some fans still opt to stand around the pitch. The stadium is currently undergoing substantial redevelopment.
