Athena has been stuck between two worlds all her life. Her best friends Sam and Blake Hallbrook are polar opposites of each other and as their final year of high school draws to an end, the friend group pulls apart. But suddenly, figuring out her identity in the midst of a competition with Blake to win the Young Songwriter Cup isn't Athenas biggest problem, when Blake dies and all eyes are on her.

I am just a teenager, who's always been fascinated with literature and storytelling. I don't think I remember a time I wasn't making stories up in my mind, which I started writing down as soon as I learned how to. For some reason I fell in love with the English language when I was 13 and ever since preferred writing in English. And since then, I've always dreamed of publishing my work some day and taking a step towards becoming an author.
