Signature of Effective Leadership

Success in every organization is dependent on the presence of effective leadership. Leaders should influence follows in such a way that the organization or an entity being government or private achieves its goals, satisfies its stakeholders and develops followers to become great leaders. The beginning point for effective leaders is self-leadership which calls for commitment to living the values required of them and modeling the same behavior to the followers. Before leading others, the leader must lead self first, because leadership is a value-laden term.
