Silk production in Tajikistan

The book provides information on the current state of the industry and the feed base for sericulture in Tajikistan, characteristics of the biological and productive features of mulberry silkworm populations from Asian and European geographical areas of origin, reared in the republic, and the technological properties of their cocoons. Data on the growth and development of the silkworm, the influence of the start date of rearing on the biological indicators of caterpillars and the technological properties of silkworm cocoons are provided.
