Sin Remorse and Expiation in the Select Novels of William Styron

This book is an attempt to make an in depth analysis of the select works William Styron, an American writer. The sins committed by the characters, their remorse and the expiation attempted by them is vividly analyzed.The humanistic values of Styron and the need for possessing such ideals in this materialistic world is identified and highlighted. The findings of the study is summarized in the final chapter and it is highly fertile. This study provides topics for further research and its social relevance is also summarized.
