Dental restorations are the most basic line of treatment for carious lesion that has been learnt thoroughly since the very early days of the dental practice. Most direct or indirect dental restorations wear out or break, or tooth structure breaks around them or develops caries. This book will help dentists to develop their own understanding of avoiding the 'unorganized approach' of cavity restoration for varying clinical situations which will follow a logical sequence. Also, it will explain the different challenges and solutions for restoration of carious lesions and provide an overview of past, present, and future procedures and also how to overcome it too.This will help them in constructing precisely correct strategy for planning for treatment within the biological considerations, principles of good occlusal practice, maintaining the health of periodontium and considering different matricing, wedging systems and different techniques according to the given clinical scenarios to improve longevity & functionality.
