Small Business, Big Opportunities

This book aimed to assess the determinants of SME financing in Malaysia. Reliable information was obtained through a quantitative study of 220 respondents, with an alpha value of 0.781 in the reliability test. Results from the one-sample t-test indicated that the independent variables, including funding options, managerial and financial skills, collateral, and credit rating, had a significant positive influence on the dependent variable, the sustainability of SMEs. Correlation and linear regression analyses further validated the hypothesis, with a perfect R and R2 value obtained in the linear regression. The ANOVA analysis also showed a significant correlation, with a p-value of 0.000. Therefore, the study concludes that the findings can be applied within the context of SME sustainability in Malaysia.
