Over the last few years, challenges for esthetic dentists have occured. It is a formidable challenge for each of us in the profession to simplify all the information and be able to apply it in a clinical perspective. An eye for esthetics is a developed sensibility that the esthetic dentist will have to nurture with intensive training and ample experience. The dentist will have to: - Learn to differentiate esthetic from unaesthetic. - To be adept at diagnosing key elements and formulating an effective, economical and highly predictable treatment plan. - Keep a critical check on functional aspects of smile design. - To gain efficiency in the handling of latest materials that render good esthetics. - Develop knowledge, accuracy and good technique for the minimally invasive esthetic treatment modalities. - To achieve esthetic results with a team approach and carry out effective.
