SMS Message Authentication Code in Third Generation Communication

This work suggests a new system called IMN SMS MAC System (ISMS) server with two proposed solution techniques. Those techniques have been introduced to achieve the security targets for the SMS transmission, especially the Message Authentication and the integrity of SMS. First technique will be called MAC To Each Record (MTER) which implement MAC to each record. The second technique will be called MAC To DataBase (MTD) which implement MAC to the whole database of SMS. Both solution techniques contained in the ISMS server which provide the mechanism of SMS-MAC that guaranty the security services interested in SMS transmission between the transmitted components. Also, guarantee the authentication and the integrity to the SMS. These results implemented by using Intel Core duo 2.00GHz processor speed with 3GB Ram computer device.
