This Edited Volume, "Social Inclusion, Equity and Empowerment of Disadvantaged Communities in India" edited by Dr. Subba Rao Pappala, Director I/C, Center for Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy (CSSEIP), Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India, is the outcome of the papers presented at the National Seminar on "Social Inclusion, Equity and Empowerment of Disadvantaged Communities in India" organised by the CSSEIP during 24-25, March, 2023. This volume consists of 12 papers presented by academics and scholars and is useful to examine the historical and causative factors that discriminate the disadvantaged communities from having access to social participation, resources, education, health, rights and other entitlements. Dr. P. SUBBA RAO has published on social and economic issues like social exclusion and inclusion, poverty and development. His research interests are centered on the welfare and development of marginalized communities, health, livelihoods, sustainable development and empowerment. He published 20 Books/Edited volumes on these issues.
