Social Inclusion through Housing

The big challenge is to work with families who occupy subnormal housing, who have been included in a housing programme and within a year will move into their new homes. How can the Government create a bond with the community? What tools can be used to promote respect for common spaces, rules to be followed, taxes to be paid? What positive results can we obtain in public management with the housing programme covered by social programmes? How to select the people who will work with these families? These are the answers of this work that was carried out in the city of Barueri, State of São Paulo, Brazil.
