Basaveswara and Lohia stands out as the most outstanding personalities in the history of India. They were prominent in more than one sphere of life, like social sphere, economic sphere, political sphere, spheres of religion and philosophy and literature. They dominates the historical scene across the centuries like a colossus. Both were essentially a revolutionaries, a leader of the masses and having nothing to do with people living in ivory towers. Though Basaveswara represents 12th century and Lohia 20th century respectively, both the philosopher have understood the Indian society in their own ways and they are the symbols of social revolution. They have been recognized as a great social philosophers in Indian society.They represents the towering intellectuals of India, whose social philosophy not only tries to understand the social wrongs of our country but also their philosophy suggest the remedial measures for the eradiciation of the social evils of our country.

She graduated from Karnataka University Dharawad securing first class and first rank in M.A. philosophy .She was awarded with Gold Medal. As an academician she holds the distinction of earning Doctorate in philosophy.
