Social responsibility in a HEI

University Social Responsibility should be an activity oriented to raise awareness that these institutions do not only prepare labor for the market or brains to look for clients; they seek that the professional is linked to the formation of a reflection to develop and raise the quality of life of society through an ethic of service. On the part of the university students, it is necessary to return to the people the resource that, through taxes, sustains public academic organizations, and to overcome the ideas that the profession is to exploit society. The University has to commit itself to offer an education that includes: teaching, research, links with society and university management.
