Social Support and victims of abuse

The silent sufferers, that is what most of them are. They did not cause the scars they carry on themselves, and they can not heal by themselves. Society needs to empathize, and not judge them. It is the little things that we take for granted, that sometimes make a big difference in the lives of victims. Listening to them, letting them know you believe their story, assuring them it is not their fault, and even a simple smile could make a ton of difference in a victim`s life. Every person on Earth needs the support of Society, and much so for victims of abuse.
