SOCIETY AND THE ENVIRONMENT IN RURAL AREAS

1st article: Society and the environment aim at the benefit of man. The nature where man lives should not be altered, but rather it should be methodically exploited to meet human needs. But it is better to know that nature can act on human health through natural disasters, air and noise pollution due to the action of the common mortal. On the other hand, man is also capable of destroying nature by his overexploitation of the soil and the air. Thus, the ecological measure plays on the activities that maintain the balance for both man and nature.2nd article: Modern medicine strongly fights some traditional practices to safeguard the treatment of patients by scientific health professionals and through the use of pharmaceuticals. However, it forgets that the objects representing saints or ancestors that believers wear can also help to overcome certain psychosomatic difficulties, especially those linked to a state of frustration!

Sosthène Kambulu Nyoka wurde am 5. November 1955 geboren und hat einen Abschluss in Animation und Entwicklung. Er ist Vater einer großen Familie mit sieben Kindern. Nach und nach musste er zwei Artikel am Centre d'Etude Ethnologique de Bandundu (CeeBa) über "Sorcellerie, handicap pour le développement chez le peuple pende" (Hexerei, Behinderung der Entwicklung beim Volk der Pende) im Jahr 1990 sowie weitere Artikel und Bücher veröffentlichen.
