'Socio-Cultural' Elements in The Plays of Asif Currimbhoy

Asif Currimbhoy defines what socio-cultural elements are and how writers used these socio-cultural elements in their work. In The Doldrummers Asif Currimbhoy, with the use of socio-cultural elements narrates that how the youth of modern India mislead on the name of advanced and fashion. Youth of the modern era are imitating western culture and the effect of this blind following described. While Monsoon discusses about the biblical myth of Noah's Ark. Asif Currimbhoy describes that how an individual blindly follow the religious rituals and ruin their life and this destruction of their life is not limited to them but also forcefully applied their wrong belief on others in the name of religion. The Miracle Seed talks about the difference between urban and rural ideology, belief and life style. Socio-Cultural elements is the medium to know about the society, religion and culture. In addition, it is the bridge, which provides the clear path to know and understand the humankind of the society.
