This book focuses on the socio-economic impacts of conservation policies on the surrounding communities of Kainji Lake National Park Borgu Sector, with a view to examining the communities perceived effect of conservation policies of the park. Selected communities are Luma, Babanna, Malale, Wawa and Kaima. The book consists of five chapters for easier assimilation. It will be useful to both, wildlife students and policy makers in wildlife conservation.

Autorentext
Assoc. Prof. Halidu Shafiu Kilishi holds a B.Sc in Geography and an M.Sc in Land Resources Management from Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria. The author also holds a PhD in Wildlife Management from University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is currently the Deputy Provost of Federal College of Wildlife Management, New Bussa, Niger State Nigeria.
