Water is the most appreciated and important gift in the natural surroundings and it must be conserved and maintained carefully for all living and non-living belongings. Floods are one of the most serious natural disaster and present major social concerns. The effective flood management is always of great apprehension in the field of hydrology and water resources engineering. The main topics covered in this book are three different techniques namely artificial neural network (ANN), adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) and multiple linear regression (MLR). This book presents an integrated approach to developed the model on engineering aspects. The book could be useful to the students and teaches of agriculture engineering, civil engineering, water resource, Hydrology, as well as to the practicing engineers and extension works involved land water management.

The author Vijay Kumar Singh was born in Uttar Pradesh, India. He joined the Ph.D in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand in July 2016. The author has published several research papers related field of water resource, hydrology and land water management.
