Soft Tissue Changes with Bionator and Twinblock Treatment

Study of facial esthetics has been primarily the domain of painters, sculpturs and philosphers.Present research focused on Pre and Post-treatment lateral cephalometric radiographs of 30 children having class II division malocclusion, and aged between 9-13 years and out of these 10 children were successfully treated with Bionator, 10 were successfully treated with the Twin Block and remaining 10 were under controls. Results of the study concludes that both ,the Bionator as well as Twin Block are equally effective in bringing about an improvement in facial balance harmony and aesthetics in Class II Divisions I malocclusion cases if treatment is brought about an early age.
