SOLITONIC DREAMS

Above the lake, the summer sun revolves on gently rocking surface waves below that dabble through the daily ebb and flow while noonday's heat falls upon our bodies; What bliss we feel beneath this lavish flood.With eye lids closed and lying thigh to thigh the limpid water makes our bodies sigh and deftly draws the fever from our blood.As time stands still and all desires recline, dissolved and scattered through the after glow , your eyes turn upward to that distant line where heaven reaches to the earth below, and mists arise to touch the mountain's brow and gleam beyond the splendors of the snow. This MS introduces a revolution that has quietly transformed the realm of science over the past half a century . All physical phenomena are non linear leading to the emergence of new coherent structures called solitons.

The author has worked in various capacities in the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, the Physics Department, Oxford University, at the CNR Frascati and at the Centre for Solid State Physics. For the last four years he has been working as Dean Faculty of Sciences at the University of Gujrat. He has over a hundred international publications.
