Solving arithmetic problems. Extreme cases

In this book the author shows how to use the method of determination of extreme cases that allows solving problems that are usually solved by systems of linear equations, but a simple thought used properly can lead to the solution of the problem without major setbacks. The reader is guided from a set of varied problems in different fields of daily life to use this thinking. This procedure is useful above all to develop the thinking of those who use it.

Eduardo Miguel Perez Almarales, Bachelor in Mathematik, Master in Erziehungswissenschaften und Doktor in Pädagogischen Wissenschaften. Er arbeitet am Nationalen Ausbildungszentrum für Mathematik-Olympiaden in Kuba und an der Universität Granma. Er hat an der Spitze kubanischer Delegationen an 18 Mathematikolympiaden teilgenommen.
