Some statistical advices for the non-statisticians

Statistics is very essential for the researchers of any field. Without using statistical tool(s) none can do the research in the Social/Physical/Biological/Medical Sciences and Business studies etc. This book is written for the non-statisticians who are more or less familiar with statistics but anxious how to analyze their data. I have heard from some students who belong to the social sciences and biological sciences that they did some statistical courses in their previous education but they never applied any statistical package. Now for their research, they need statistics to analyze their data. That's why; I have written this book to assist them. In this book, I have mentioned applications of some statistical tools like t-test, correlation, Analysis of variance (ANOVA), Regression analysis, Mixed models, Multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), Principle component Analysis (PCA), Multi-factor analysis (MFA). I hope, having read this book, they will able to find out the answers of their hidden questions. This book can also be used for the Bachelor or Master level of educations in the non- statistical disciplines.

The author is an Assistant Prof., Dept. of Statistics, Shahjalal University of Sci. and Tech. (SUST), Bangladesh. He holds a B.Sc. & M.Sc. in Statistics (SUST). He also holds M.Sc. in Applied Statistics and M.Sc. in Biostatistics (Hasselt University, BE). Now he is doing research on Systems Biological field (Wageningen University, NL).
