Specialized Vs Multi-Role Fighter Aircraft

Conceptual Design of a Ground Attack and Air Superiority Fighter Aircraft is designed after arriving at typical mission profiles of those aircraft with some required point performance metrics. Similarly based on a compromise, the point performance metrics and mission profile of a multi-role fighter aircraft is arrived and a conceptual design is done. From the design and evaluation of the drag polar, thrust-to-weight ratio and wing loading, the performance measures are compared for all these aircraft. Functional agility metrics are also compared. The details of the comparison is also explained in plain and simple language.
