Speech and hearing therapy in oncology

This work elucidates the work of the speech therapist in the hospital setting, in the oncology sector. It aims to explain how audiological monitoring is performed and the actions that can be developed to improve the quality of life of patients undergoing cancer treatment. All work is based on the Research Project Audiological Diagnosis in Oncology carried out in a Public Hospital of Sergipe in partnership with the Federal University of Sergipe.

Docteur en sciences de la santé de l'Université fédérale de Sergipe (UFS) et spécialiste en audiologie du Conseil fédéral de l'orthophonie. Diplômé en orthophonie et en administration hospitalière. Professeur adjoint du département d'orthophonie dans le domaine de l'audiologie à l'UFS et coordinateur du projet de recherche Diagnostic audiologique en oncologie.
