Speech Technology from the inside out

This work is extracted from my lecture notes in the courses of speech processing and automatic speech recognition. It is intended to provide an easy way to understand the speech technology. This illustration is intending to provide practical examples and open source code in C sharp or matlab whenever possible. All programs are tested and intended to provide illustration of theory in the context it appears. Through the text, there are many research topics that is introduced to enrich the knowledge of the reader to open new horizons for the reader to contribute in the field. This book is suitable for basic reader as well as the professional researcher.

Amr M. Gody received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and PhD. from the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, Egypt, in 1991, 1995 and 1999, respectively. He is a co-author of about 60 papers in national and international conference proceedings and journals. He is full professor of signal processing in 2016.
