Spin is the first solo album from the ex-Savage Garden member Darren Hayes. The album was mixed by Chris Lord-Alge and produced by Walter Afanasieff. It was released in Australia in March 2002 and reached the rest of the world later that year. The album has sold 4 million copies as of 2009. The first single was destined to be "Dirty", with a release date of October 9, 2001. It ended up only as a promo release because of the September 11 attacks. "Insatiable" became the first single in January 2002, and was a hit. "Strange Relationship" followed in June, but was not a hit like its predecessor. "Crush (1980 Me)" and "I Miss You" followed in November 2002 and January 2003 respectively.
