Il dottor Mohammad Taghi Karimi è nato ad Abadeh, nella provincia di Fars in Iran. Ha studiato a Glasgow presso l'Università di Strathclyde, dove ha completato con successo il suo dottorato in bioingegneria nel 2010. È un professore associato nella facoltà di riabilitazione dell'Università di Scienze Mediche di Shiraz.
