Sri Aurobindo Society Complex, Chittagong
Details
Aurobindo Society of Bangladesh wants to experiment the philosophy of Sri Aurobindo. So they fixed the program of different activity which can be helpful to realize the philosophy of Sri Aurobindo. It's an exceptional project which merges the function in way to synthesize the ideals of past experiments of rishis and sadhakas. In designing I consider the ancient philosophy of sub continent and their mental imagination of the universe as well as the ideals of the society. After the broad study I have tried to identify the ancient metaphysical features, which could be helpful to identify Sri Aurobindo Society Complex not only as its functional representation but also as a metaphysical and philosophical dimension. This can be best expressed in the words of Correa, "Architecture should always be simultaneously both old and new for its comes into being at the intersect on of three major forces. The first represents the technology and economies; the second, culture and history and third, the aspirations of people." "Beyond all Materialism where Architecture meets the Spirituality"
