Amina ElHalawani is a Lecturer of English Literature at the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University. After finishing an MA degree in English Literature at Alexandria University, ElHalawani pursued her PhD in Comparative Literature at the University of Tübingen and the University of Perpignan via Domitia with an Erasmus Mundus Fellowship. Her research interests include drama and performance studies, theatre of the absurd, modernism, twentieth-century literature, contemporary migrant literature, home writing, postcoloniality and the Global South.
