Stakeholder Management - Challenges and Opportunities is a critical study about Indian Stakeholder management. The Overall objective of the study is to find out the current position of Corporate Social Responsibility in the Indian context. It was proposed (1)To trace the evolution of Stakeholder Management in Indian companies (2)To ascertain the study related to Stakeholder Management. (3)To analyze the various factors influencing the Stakeholder Management in Indian companies. (4)To analyze how Stakeholder Management influence social and economic impact. (5)To compare the results of Indian Stakeholder Management with the western countries. (6) To find out the feasibility of legal requirements that are competent enough for Stakeholder Management (7)To cull out the problems faced by Indian corporates for Stakeholder Management and draw a suitable model. The following hypotheses were tested in the study. (1)Stakeholder management depends on the size and type of the organization (2)Share holders are not more important than other Stakeholders of an organization (3)There is no difference between Indian CSR and Western CSR (4)Can Voluntary nature of CSR will be more successful
