Starch for the Furniture Industry

The author developed a starch modified by oxidation and characterized it in order to evaluate the applicability of the product in the furniture industry, and the panels used in this industry may eventually incorporate the foams elaborated. The author's master's thesis was about this investigation and resulted in this work. The information disclosed is of interest to the furniture industry, in the search for improvement of the pieces produced or to be produced.
