State Reform and Schools of Government

The Schools of Government have gained prominence in Brazil as a result of the so-called managerialist reform of the state, which began mainly in 1995, with the formal aim of improving the professional qualifications of public bureaucrats. This book analyses a school at sub-national level, the Paraíba State Public Service School (ESPEP), in order to reflect on the extent to which it relates to the reformist assumptions.

Sie hat einen Abschluss in Sozialwissenschaften von der Bundesuniversität von Paraíba (2009), eine Spezialisierung in öffentlicher Verwaltung (UEPB), einen Master in Soziologie von der Bundesuniversität von Paraíba (2011) und einen Doktortitel in Sozialwissenschaften von der Bundesuniversität von Rio Grande do Norte (2017). Derzeit ist sie Professorin am Bundesinstitut von Paraíba - IFPB.
