State's Responsibility in Addressing Domestic Violence

Domestic violence is a family problem which directly affects women s rights. It also give impacts the economic system and society as a whole. It is interesting to know the role of the State in responding to this issue. The State s Responsibility in Addressing Domestic Violence: A Case Study of Thailand elaborates on domestic violence in Thailand. It depicts civil society s concern on serveral issues related on domestic violence as well as its role in solving and asking the State to address the problem. Also, this research presents a process for the Thai government and other State s agencies to address domestic violence.
