Status of Haryana tourism

Present book entitled "STATUS OF HARYANA TOURISM" has discussed tourism status in Haryana. To achieve its objective, this book is divided into six chapters. Chapter 1 of the book described tourism in India as well as in Haryana with relevant data and suitable examples. It also includes status of world tourism and the estimation of its economic contribution. Chapter 2 includes research methodology that contains survey literature, objectives of study and chapter scheme. Chapter 3 discusses status of tourism in Haryana in details by providing detailed description of infrastructural and other inventories. Various tourism programs launched by state have been introduced in Chapter 4 to present the present status of tourism operations in Haryana. Chapter 5 highlights issues and constraints to the development of state tourism in Haryana. Suggestions and recommendations are also presented to promote the industry in Chapter 6. Bibliography has been given at last to refer for better understanding the issues highlighted in present work.

The author completed his master and doctoral degree in Plant Pathology from Bidhan Chander KrishiViswavidyalya, Mohanpur, Nadia (India) with senior merit scholarship.
