Status of Senior Citizens of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Nepal

Senior citizen is a rapidly expanding segment of population. Preference to single family has resulted marginalization and, in some case, complete abandonment seniors in many activities. The book has highlighted socio-economic status of senior citizens of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Nepal, their health problems and need and interest. Senior citizens have Asthma and Hypertension as the major health problems and interest is to be religious.
