Details
The Stephanite is a new sect in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church Religion in the late 15th and in the early 16th century, particularly in the reign Emperor Zär'a Ya' qob. Though the sect has been known to the world at least since Dillmann's study of the writings of Emperor Zar'a Ya' qob in 1885, there have been a few researches which mainly focus on its history so far.The author of this research; therefore, conducted historical, linguistic and philological analyses on selected manuscripts which have paramount information to the sect.
