This book was written during the author's Bachelor's studies in International Relations. It explores the concept of strategic ambiguity, with a main focus on the South Asian region and nuclear policies of India as well as Pakistan. It investigates how these policies have evolved over the years because of changing security dynamics, advancements in technology, and regional tension. In addition, it examines updates in the principles of both nations and the significance of ambiguity in developing their strategic approaches and preserving deterrence.

I am Ibrar Hussain, currently pursuing MPhil in International Relations from NUML. I am associated with Institute of Regional Studies Islamabad, conduct research, on regional conflict and human security. Particularly, focusing on the South Asian region.
