Strategic planning and business performance of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Lagos-state, Nigeria. This research is an empirical investigation because its content and organization reflect findings in a developing country, however the findings can be used to establish business theory and practice. More importantly the findings in the text can be used as a template to organize successful small and medium enterprises in developing economic setting.

Ikotun Sabic Idowu holds a BSc, MSC and MBA from the University of Ibadan and Obafimi Awolowo University respectively. He is an Associate Lecturer at Calab Business School, Department of Business Administration. He is also a senior research fellow at Center of Environment and Management Ikeja, Lagos.
