Stress and its effects on Academic Performance

This research was carried out with the intention of evaluating the relationship between stressors and academic performance in the Australian context. Due to the time and resource constraints, the researcher only concentrated on Central Queensland University in Melbourne, AustraliaA common perception that lies with the general public is that, academic performance is highly associated with the level of knowledge on the subject area and the hard work of students. However, researches that have been carried out in the recent past have proved that there are other important factors which influence the overall academic performance for both local and foreign students.
