The most common cause of this condition is a blocked or ruptured blood vessel responsible for supplying blood to the brain. Therefore, our book offers a thorough overview of stroke, a medical emergency considered severe and urgent. This discussion covers the genesis, pathology, risk factors, treatment options, and some of the challenges encountered, along with differential diagnosis, prognosis, and the importance of identifying the condition in children. This is due to the shift in the population affected by this ailment, which used to primarily consist of older individuals, but now includes a significant younger population. After the COVID-19 outbreak, there was a notable rise in the number of strokes that occurred among younger patients. This was a significant increase. Raising awareness about stroke and lowering its risk were the primary goals of our book.
