The purpose of this paper was to study the structural content of professionally significant qualities of personality of the head of children's organizations. The authors revealed the main directions of psychological and pedagogical research in modern psychology and pedagogy, considered the issues of self-organization of children and relationships on the basis of cooperation with students of pedagogical universities on the theory and practice of children's organizations.The main provisions and conclusions of this work can serve as a theoretical and practical basis for further study of professionally significant qualities of personality in various professions, and can also help professional psychologists, teachers, educators to solve the problems of improving the professional training of leaders of children's groups.
