Students' perceptions on safety at the University of Namibia campus

This book was my research project report submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Science in Statistics (Honors) to the University of Namibia, Faculty of Science, Department of Statistics And Population Studies during my final year of my studies. The primary objective of this study was to explore the students' perception on campus safety and the use of campus safety services. The recent events of campus violence have been making media headlines for these past years and as a result thereof the nation's higher education (UNAM) campuses have been affected either directly or indirectly by these acts of violence.Therefore this research was very important for the University of Namibia's Department of Safety and Security in order to determine which security measures are effective when it came to the safety of the students at the main campus.
