Studies on the Heat Transfer Characteristics of a Porous Media

This book deals with the experimental and computational studies on the heat transfer behaviour of air-alumina based porous media. Specifically, the analysis deals with the effective thermal conductivity and pressure drop across the packed bed for the variations in mass flow rate, heat flux, etc. This book would be helpful to the research scholars, who are interested in pursuing their research in porous media heat transfer.
