Studies on Volatile Organic Compounds in & around an Oil Refinery

This book has primarily written to detailed the Occupational Exposure of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) present in the ambient air factory premises, its boundary walls and nearby villages. This will also serve as a reference for monitoring of VOCs in ambient air, sample collection and analysis techniques for its measurements. It highlights the occupational exposure of VOCs to the workers engaged at work sites. The Impacts of VOCs to nearby Villages was also determined and is found to be negligible. The book has five chapters: 1) Introduction 2) Experimental 3)Results and Discussions 4) Conclusions and 5) Bibiliography characterized by clear, methodical and step-by-step explanation of the topics. The book covers the exhuastive number of references which is likely to be useful for the readers. This book will be a guideline for monitoring of ambient air concentrations of volataile organic compounds.
